Eligibility and Value

  • If you're a high school student enrolling in a Bachelor’s program focusing on environment and sustainability, this scholarship is for you.
  • You'll receive a total value of $60,000 ($15,000/year).
  • This renewable financial assistance is available for a maximum of four years.
  • You need a minimum cumulative average of 90%.

Entry Criteria

  • Your passion for the environment is a must.
  • You should have a history of leadership, community service, and extracurricular activities.
  • You must enroll in a Bachelor’s program at Acadia University.

Renewal Criteria

  • You need to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 for the first year and 3.67 for subsequent years.
  • Show your awareness of environmental issues and leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic, behavior, values, and ethics.
  • Take an active role in mentoring junior scholars after the first year.
  • Participate in environment-related summer employment or research-oriented courses after the second year.
  • Ensure you maintain a full course load each semester.
  • Submit an annual advancement letter outlining your progress in various areas.
  • Get endorsement by the Director of Research of the K.C. Irving Environmental Centre.
