Eligibility and Value
- If you're a high school student enrolling in a Bachelor’s program focusing on environment and sustainability, this scholarship is for you.
- You'll receive a total value of $60,000 ($15,000/year).
- This renewable financial assistance is available for a maximum of four years.
- You need a minimum cumulative average of 90%.
Entry Criteria
- Your passion for the environment is a must.
- You should have a history of leadership, community service, and extracurricular activities.
- You must enroll in a Bachelor’s program at Acadia University.
Renewal Criteria
- You need to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 for the first year and 3.67 for subsequent years.
- Show your awareness of environmental issues and leadership qualities.
- Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic, behavior, values, and ethics.
- Take an active role in mentoring junior scholars after the first year.
- Participate in environment-related summer employment or research-oriented courses after the second year.
- Ensure you maintain a full course load each semester.
- Submit an annual advancement letter outlining your progress in various areas.
- Get endorsement by the Director of Research of the K.C. Irving Environmental Centre.
